Oh HEY long lost friends ... It's ME! Madeline! Back on the Interwebs with the intent to restart this blog and reconnect with all of you. A LOT has changed since we last chatted so I guess it's time to get you up to speed!
Before getting into the changes there are SOME things that are the same ... Chris and I are still happily married and are in lucky year 11 of that marriage! 11 is an auspicious number and I may be biased but I think this might be the best year yet. The girls are still pure JOY ... Emmalyne is 8 and Bryn is 6! We still live in Phoenix and I find it hard to be believe that we have been home for almost 3 years now. I guess the foundation of who we are hasn't changed much actually but for that I am extremely grateful.
On to what HAS changed ... For the last 2.5 years we have been VERY busy building a business with an incredible company. It started as a hobby and a way to make some extra cash but now has morphed into my full time gig. It's pretty crazy but I just was able to quit my job as a Physician Assistant to stay home and continue to build our business. It still feels nuts to say it out loud but here we are. I have found that my passion, and what I truly consider my purpose, is empowering female entrepreneurs to realize that they can build an empire while also raising babies or having a healthy and happy marriage. I am still picking up shifts at my last job but only because I want to. I work when I want and how often I want and only because I had the best patients in the world. This flexibility and newfound freedom has given me the time to get back into writing and thus restarting my blog.
Writing has always been cathartic to me. As an Enneagram 8 I don't share my feelings well and actually feelings in general would make me super uncomfortable for a long time. Writing always been how I express myself the best and getting back online, even if it's JUST for me, gives me some butterflies again.
My vision for this space is some of the same and some of the new. I love sharing our adventures as family, fun fashion finds, and random musings. I also have a passion for entrepreneurship and network marketing an want to share some of the things I have learned that have helped me reach the top of my company. It might be a beautiful, chaotic mess ... but it's mine.
I am excited to be back.
I have missed you all more than I realized.
